On April 7, 2023, in order to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, conscientiously implement the major national strategies of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and strive to improve the level of green and high-quality industrial development in key regions, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a symposium on regional coordinated green development in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. The Yellow River Basin, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and other regions of 22 provincial departments in charge of industry and information technology, relevant industry associations attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization summarized the green development of industry in key regions such as the Yellow River Basin, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and deployed the next key work. Some local participants reported on the progress of the local work to promote the green and low-carbon development of industry, the results achieved and the suggestions for the next step. The meeting pointed out that all localities should fully implement the major strategy of regional coordinated development, formulate the implementation plan and key task list of industrial green development according to local conditions, adhere to a blueprint to the end, promote the stubble and achieve practical results, and strive to promote the green and high-quality development of regional industry, so that green will become a common form of new industrialization, and continue to improve the high-end, intelligent and green level of manufacturing industry.

During the period, the relevant person in charge of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization went to relevant enterprises to conduct on-site research and held a symposium on energy efficiency of data centers in combination with the investigation and research work arrangements.
