Industry News | The work site of energy conservation and carbon reduction in key areas will be held in Ningbo

From May 24th to 25th, the Industrial Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized an on-site meeting on energy conservation and carbon reduction in key areas in Ningbo, Zhejiang. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the People's Bank of China, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Energy Administration, all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities with independent planning, the Development and Reform Commission of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the competent departments of industry and information technology, relevant central enterprises, industry associations, professional institutions and financial institutions attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Department of Industrial Development of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology emphasized the importance of promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction in the industrial field, summarized the progress of the work, clarified the requirements for the next step, and the Department of Atmospheric Environment of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Department of Financial Market of the People's Bank of China made policy interpretations. The competent departments of development and reform, industry and information technology in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong and Sichuan, as well as industry associations such as China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and China Iron and Steel Association, respectively exchanged views on the typical work experience of energy conservation and carbon reduction in their respective regions and industries.
