In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the National Conference on Ecological and Environmental Protection and promote the high-quality development of the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry, the theme activity of environmental protection equipment to help the construction of ecological civilization was successfully held during the first National Ecological Day on August 15. More than 220 people, including the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the backbone enterprises of the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry, the user enterprises of environmental protection equipment, relevant scientific research institutes and industry associations, participated in the event online and offline.

During the event, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization released the list of enterprises with standardized conditions for the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry in 2023, relevant industry experts made special reports on environmental protection equipment to help the construction of ecological civilization, and enterprises with standardized conditions for environmental protection equipment in key areas such as air treatment, sewage treatment, environmental monitoring, and solid waste treatment shared typical application cases and scenarios of environmental protection technology and equipment. The relevant person in charge of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization said that vigorously developing the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry is not only an important guarantee for promoting the construction of ecological civilization, but also an urgent need to promote the development of strategic emerging industries and create new economic growth points.
