In order to do a good job in the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for industrial green development (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") and accelerate the green transformation and development of key industries, on April 7, 2023, the main responsible comrades of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization presided over a symposium in Beijing to listen to the progress of various industries in promoting the implementation of the "Plan", the landmark achievements of green development in the industry, the existing difficulties and problems, the next work plan, and relevant suggestions. Industry associations of steel, petrochemical, building materials, non-ferrous metals, machinery, light industry, textiles, electronics and CCID Research Institute attended the meeting.
The meeting emphasized that the implementation of the plan is a systematic project involving many aspects, fields and industries, and various industry associations can play an important role in promoting the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" industrial green development plan. The meeting proposed that this year will organize the mid-term evaluation of the "plan", and hope that the associations will actively make suggestions and suggestions, give wisdom support, further strengthen the study of major issues, and make more hard, practical and clever moves.
In the next step, the Energy Conservation Division will carefully study the opinions and suggestions put forward by the experts at the meeting, comprehensively sort out the experience and results since the release of the "plan", especially focus on the existing problems, adhere to the problem-oriented, strengthen investigation and research with various industry associations, solve the pain points and difficulties in the green development of industry, further strengthen the coordination between departments, fields and industries, form a joint work force, and twist into a rope in promoting the green development of industry. Accelerate new industrialization and make more contributions to the construction of a manufacturing power.
