Latest Policy | China Heavy Machinery Industry Association issued the "Action Plan for Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction in the Heavy Machinery Industry"

In order to thoroughly implement the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on carbon peak and carbon neutrality and the relevant work requirements of the "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peak in the Industrial Field", and promote the industry's energy conservation and carbon reduction actions, the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association recently issued the "Action Plan for Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction in the Heavy Machinery Industry" (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan"), which clarifies the overall requirements, key tasks and safeguard measures for the industry to carry out energy conservation and carbon reduction actions.

The Action Plan focuses on the two key directions of "the industry's own green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading" and "providing high-efficiency and energy-saving technology, technology and equipment for the whole society", and puts forward the tasks of energy conservation and carbon reduction of 95 projects. It is proposed that by 2030, through the implementation of energy-saving and carbon-reduction actions, the energy efficiency level of leading products and key production processes in the heavy machinery industry will be significantly improved, the carbon emission intensity will be significantly reduced, the energy efficiency of key products will reach the international advanced level, and the green and low-carbon development capacity will be significantly enhanced, helping the industrial carbon dioxide emissions to peak before 2030.
