At the meeting, experts from the Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute introduced the steel production and energy consumption of the national and key enterprises in the first quarter of this year, and the analysis of the energy consumption trend of the steel industry with the theme of "Analysis of Energy Consumption Indicators in the First Quarter of the Iron and Steel Industry". The participants conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the fluctuation of energy consumption per ton of steel and its causes, the difficulties and plugging points of scrap steel recycling, the key direction of energy conservation and carbon reduction transformation in the steel industry, the future development of the steel industry and the prediction of energy consumption changes.
